Abstract expressionism art is a great way to let yourself go. Experimenting with the rules you have learned at the academy. The tambourine man, which you see below, is an example of an attempt to distort reality.

I tried to paint feelings and experiences as an observer of music. In this case a musician who is playing on a tambourine and drum set. An even bigger distort of reality could be an option. Where only the basic forms and lines would survive on the painting.
I am convinced that the painting did not need more distortion of reality. Only expressing the basic forms, lines and colors was not what I had in mind and how I felt. So in what degree will this oil painting fit in with all the other expressionism art? I will let you judge!
